暑期俱乐部（Summer Camp）圆满结课

2021年8月我园开展了首次暑期俱乐部，

由优爱国际幼稚园外教团队倾力打造。

小朋友们在这里探索奇妙的科学世界，

实现成为灌篮高手的梦想。

有他们最热衷的厨艺、烹饪，

在这里还可以尽情享受表演的乐趣…

在这个暑期里宝贝们带着一颗探索之心

畅游在知识的海洋里。

足球俱乐部

Football Club

To play football first, you'll need two teams. The goal of the game is to score more points than the other team by kicking the ball into their net. In the official rules, each team has 11 players and the game lasts for 90 minutes. Kids learn how to work together as a team. Kids learn what they’re good at and where they need to improve. Kids learn the importance of hard work. Kids learn how to take constructive criticism. Kids learn a lot from losing.

Drama Show

We tried to encourage children to perform SONGS with ACTIONS! We learned Mouth movements, Facial movements, Acting with our body, Matching facial expressions to bodily movement, Sounding out words correctly through practice of pronunciation, Voice control (volume and tones). We learned how to sound out higher and lower notes, how to play percussion instruments and how to sing along with the different sounds! Children gained confidence over the course of SUMMER CAMP to act out scenarios in English which in turn will assist in their SINGING abilities.

Cooking Fun

We learned about KITCHEN VERBS: 1. Mixing 2. Cooking 3. Whisking 4. Cutting

We learned that safety comes FIRST and we ALWAYS have to ask for adult supervision! We learned how to make COOKING AND BAKING FUN by decorating healthy fruits and vegetables into a wonderful meal for everyone to enjoy! We learned techniques in the kitchen that encourage a SAFE bur great environment for the whole family!

Nature Discovery   

Children learned about health and safety when out in the field:

Do not eat plants or flowers.

Do not touch bees or wasps.

We also learned different insect names:

We learned how to find and catch insects using:

We also learned how to sketch our specimens and went over plant anatomy: During Week Four And last week, the students cut their favourite laminated flowers into a bookmark or key chain that was then hole punched with a piece of string placed through the hole for them to keep. We then learned the sentence: A Spider has eight legs.

篮球俱乐部

Basketball Club

In basketball summer camp this month our little rookies learnt how to bounce, dribble, pass and shoot. The children had lots of fun participating in our drills and games and at the end of out class we preformed a dance together to show everything we had learned during our four weeks of basketball. We all had an amazing time!

寻宝猎人 Treasure Hunter

It was an exciting time for the treasure hunters! We searched high and wide, up and down spanning the whole kindergarten! We learnt more English words along the way, which helped us find the clues! When we were not hunting treasure, we created our own fancy treasure chests, and made sure we found treasure and toys to put inside！

趣味英文发音 Fun Phonics

We incorporated playing basket ball with phonics to make it very fun and easier for the kids to understand. And introduced hoops to the kids. The kids jumped through hoops as they mentioned different letters. Then I introduced bowling to them. They had to roll the ball and mention whatever letter is behind the bowling pin. We did have fun and learned phonics.

英文发音之旅 Phonics Tour

Our Phonics Stars made a ton of improvement in pronunciation and reading skills during Summer Camp! We practiced blend sounds, digraphs and diphthongs through interactive games, crafts and TPR. These skills will be used as they continue to grow in their English ability.

科学探索

Science Discovery

In science class we learned about the buoyancy of water and water displacement. We did experiments with sound, and learned how sound is made from vibrations. Then we learned about mixing solutions and suspensions and some neat tricks we could do with those. I hope it brought joy and a sense of wonder that will sustain the children throughout their lives.

趣味游戏

Fun Games

We played twister along with snakes and ladders. These game will show us how lucky you are.  Who will be the best, will the dice Favor you so you can go up the ladder or will you roll a number that will take you down because you landed on a snake. Lest have fun I wish you the best of luck.

通过本次Kids Summer Camp的开展培养了幼儿的英语语感，拼读启蒙，学习拼读方法。 加强了拼读绘本阅读，培养阅读兴趣的能力。并且养成宝贝动手能力及探索能力，提高了全园幼儿的自信心。

暑期英文俱乐部虽然已经结束，但是宝贝们学习英文与探索知识的热情依然不减，希望宝贝们能够保持这份热情与热爱继续参与到新学期的活动中去，让我们共同期待下一次假期训练营的开启吧！
